Nigeria’s oil output rose 100,000 barrels a day to an average 2.005 million, the biggest increase of any member and the highest level since March 2008. Nigeria exceeded its target by 332,000 barrels a day after a cease-fire and amnesty agreement with the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), allowed the country to pump more oil before the militant attack on December 19.
