Burtocal North-1 exploration well

BP has plugged and abandoned the Burtocal North-1 exploration well in the Gulf of Suez North Shadwan concession in Egypt.

The well was drilled to 3,659m, but failed to encounter significant hydrocarbons, North Shadwan’s partner Beach Petroleum said in a statement.
