Aker Solutions awarded another important drilling equipment contract

Aker Solutions has been awarded a drilling equipment contract by Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) in Korea for a new semi submersible drilling rig. The total contract value for Aker Solutions is approximately USD 105 million.
The scope of work is to deliver a complete drilling equipment package including installation and commissioning supervision. The semi submersible drilling rig is scheduled for delivery Q2 2011.

This contract will be booked as order intake in 3Q 2008.
The contract party is Aker Solutions subsidiary, Aker MH AS.
