Sonatrach announce recent Algerian discoveries

Sonatrach announced on its website today three new gas discoveries in partnership with three different foreign firms.
The first discovery was made in the Hassi Mouina perimeter in conjunction with StatoilHydro.
A second discovery was made in partnership with BP on the Bourarhet Sud perimeter in the Illizi basin. The well flowed at a rate of 9.5 Mmcf per day.
BG and Gulf Keystone were partnered with Sonatrach for the third discovery.
The partners hit on the Hassi Ba Hamou perimeter in Bechar Oued Namous basin with a flow rate of around 3.2 Mmcf per day.
