COSL establishes an oil equipment manufacturing and portside operation support base in Cao Fei Dian

China Oilfield Services Limited (“COSL” or the “Company”, HKSE stock code: 2883, SSE stock code: 601808) signed on 4 June, 2008 a land supply agreement for establishment of an oil equipment manufacturing and portside operation support base in Cao Fei Dian, Tang Shan City.
The agreement was signed in Yanjiao with Bureau of Land & Resources of Tang Shan. Representing both parties were Mr. Xu Xiongfei, COSL’s Vice President and Mr. Li Huanwu, Deputy Director-General of Bureau of Land & Resources of Tang Shan and Head of the Working Group on Cao Fei Dian Industrial Zone.
The COSL oil equipment manufacturing and portside operation support base will be situated in the equipment manufacturing zone in Cao Fei Dian on the north side of the North Ring Road. This base is to be established to develop COSL’s ancillary industries relating to offshore oil exploration, including oil equipment manufacturing and maintenance, module rigs manufacturing, equipment manufacturing, offshore operation support, drilling platform and vessels maintenance and overhaul activities, storage of large-size equipment and products, and provides services and support to offshore exploration and development operations of domestic and foreign oil companies.
