Nigeria – Fire in cluster 1 and cluster 3 plants of Beniboye

Fire extinguishing operations still ongoing
Eni informs that during the night between April 12 and 13 a fire occurred in the oil plants of Cluster 1 and Cluster 3 due to a sabotage. Plants are operated by NAOC in the area of Beniboye, Delta State, Nigeria.
Fire extinguishers have promptly intervened. Operations of fire extinguishing are still ongoing on Cluster 1, while on Cluster 3 fire has been already put out. Total amount of production loss is about 5,000 bpd ( about 1,000 bpd Eni equity) . No injuries have been reported. Eni will provide further details as soon as available.
