Miller and Scaroni discussed the development of the cooperation between Eni and Gazprom in the oil and gas sector and made a significant step forward in the negotiation for the asset exchange established within the strategic agreement between the two companies.
Rome , 25 March 2008 – Eni CEO Paolo Scaroni and Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller met today in the headquarters of Gazprom, in Moscow.
Miller and Scaroni discussed the development of the cooperation between Eni and Gazprom in the oil and gas sector and made a significant step forward in the negotiation for the asset exchange established within the strategic agreement between the two companies.
Miller and Scaroni examined the progress achieved in the South Stream project and positively evaluated the development of the cooperation between the two companies. They also decided to jointly present the South Stream project in Bruxelles.
Furthermore, the parties also discussed opportunities of cooperation between Gazprom Neft and Eni.
