A new generation offshore purpose vessel for GSP

The Dutch design office Sea of Solutions has been awarded by GSP Drilling the design contract for a new DP3 multipurpose construction vessel. The Dutch design office Sea of Solutions and the Finish engineering company Deltamarin will cooperate during this contract. Both Sea of Solutions and Deltamarine were involved in the Concept Design of the vessel and are currently working on the Basic Design. The design is fully customized to GSP Drilling’s requirements.
The vessel will combine three offshore operating capabilities in one unique in the world project: pipelaying, heavy lift operations and tender assist drilling operations.
Sanda Gabriela Murtaza: Currently there are no similar types of vessels in the market able to perform both construction works and deepwater tender assist drilling operations. DP 3 classed, with a total 8 thrusters and a mooring system, with an 1800 mT main crane located at the starboard aft side of the vessel, this is for GSP, Sea of Solutions and Deltamarin
